constant surface speed mode

The G96 code word instates a spindle rpm that is dependent on the distance that the cutting tool is from part centerline of the spindle. By adjusting the speed slower for large diameter and faster for small diameters the cutting tool is always cutting with the same relative speed. The RPM of the spindle will change in real time such that as the tool approaches centerline the spindle speed becomes infinity fast. Therefore the necessity for having a parameter or G-code (like G50) to limit the actual maximum speed. Note: cutting speed is not the same as RPM.
